The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Nigeria exceeded the 25,000 mark on Monday following the report of 566 infections.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the brand-new figures in a late-night post through its confirmed Twitter manage.

Similar to the previous day, the brand-new cases were taped throughout 19 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

According to the health company, Nigeria now has 25,133 confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of 11: 23 pm on June 29, 2020.

On the positive note, 395 more clients have been effectively treated and released from the seclusion centres in various parts of the country.
