The Lebanese who marketed a Nigerian lady for sale on Facebook, Wael Jerro, has been arrested.
The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, mentioned this on her Twitter manage on Thursday.
She kept in mind that the suspect, who was detained by the Lebanese federal government, would be prosecuted.
” The Lebanese Federal government just revealed the arrest of Mr. Wael Jerro for onward prosecution versus criminal sales of a human, a young Nigerian woman,” she composed.
Jerro had actually promoted the victim, Busari Peace, with her Nigerian passport on a Facebook page, ‘Purchase and Sell in Lebanon.’

He put a price of $1,000 on the 30- year-old Ibadan, Oyo State, indigene.
The occurrence produced outrage on social networks, as lots of Nigerians required the arrest of the suspect and rescue of Busari.
