Cops have introduced an investigation after a guy was shot dead in Sydney’s west early on Monday evening.
Emergency services were called to the house on Jones Street at Wentworthville prior to 8pm on Monday following reports of a shooting.
NSW Ambulance paramedics dealt with a 44- year-old male for a gunshot injury to his leg.
In spite of their best shots, the man died at the scene, police said.
Cops have actually been told an unidentified man entered the home and fired the shot prior to getting away the location in a white or grey cars and truck.
Another male was also in the house and confronted the gunman prior to he left, cops said.
A forensic examination of the house continues after a crime scene was established on Monday night.
